We remain open and available to you and your child!
Virtual Visits are here!
Your care team at Holliston Pediatrics is committed to remaining open and available to you and your child during this coronavirus pandemic. We are working closely with Boston Children's Hospital and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and we are staying up-to-date on all CDC recommendations, to make sure that we are keeping our patients and our staff safe and healthy while we continue to provide the care that you and your child need.
We are seeing patients in our offices for well visits that involve an immunization. And of course we are seeing our newborns in person. Please see the section about "Keeping our Offices Safe For You and Your Child" to read about how we are ensuring that our office is a safe space.
Given that we have to limit who we can bring into our office so that we can all stay healthy and continue be available to help you and your child, we are conducting VIRTUAL VISITS via our Telehealth platform , which was set up for us by Boston Children’s Hospital, for most acute care and for many well visits. If our triage nurse feels that your child should have a visit for an acute concern, but per our current screening protocol cannot come into our offices, one of our providers will conduct a virtual visit with you and your child face-to-face, do some parts of a physical exam, and prescribe medication if it is indicated. We are your medical home, we know you and your child, and we do not want you or your child to be exposed to potential infection at an urgent care center unless such a visit is necessary, so we will be available to you in this new way now! You will need to be registered on MyChart in order to have a virtual visit with us---please see the instructions outlining how to sign up for MyChart on this website page under the Coronavirus heading, or please call our office for assistance. We are converting many of our scheduled well visits into virtual visits too so you may receive a call from our staff to assist you with this. We are very excited to use this new technology to continue to care for your child
during this pandemic!
We do not have the ability to test for the COVID-19 virus at this time.
Boston Children's Hospital has put together some excellent information about coronavirus in children. Please visit their website at childrenshospital.org for more information from a trusted source! Stay well and stay in touch---we are here for you!
